την παρουσίαση θεατρικών παρα-
στάσεων σε όλο το κόσμο.Η Εταιρία
αυτή θα έχει έδρα την Αρχαία Μεσ-
σήνη και η πρώτη θεατρική παρά-
σταση κάθε χρόνο θα ξεκινά από
εκεί , θα συνεχίζει με θεατρικές πα-
ραστάσεις σε όλόκληρη την υφήλιο
και ο κύκλος των παραστάσεων αυ-
τών θα κλείνει στην Αρχαία Μεσ-σήνη , την πολιτιστική πρωτεύουσα
της Μεσσηνίας.
Επικεφαλής της προσπάθειας αυτής,
την οποία στηρίζει η Ounesco, είναι ο Νίκος-Διονύσης Μητρογιαννόπουλος ηθοποιός, σκηνοθέτης και χορογράφος,
ο οποίος έλκει την καταγωγή του από την Ανθούσα Ιθώμης.Εμφανίστηκε και πάλι ύστερα από 17 χρόνια , επί Ελλη-νικού εδάφους , με την τραγωδία του Αισχύλου: «Επτά επί Θήβας» με το ΔΗΠΕΘΕ Κέρκυρας.

Nikos Dionysios is an actor, writer and director.
Born in Athens, Greece, Nikos Dionysios-Mitrogiannopoulos received a scholarship from Karolos Koun’s Theatre Technis. He has performed in Europe, North America and the ancient theatres of Herodeum, Epidauros and others presenting the classics and contemporary theatre. As Shlink in 'In The Jungle of the Cities' he was recognized for his work in an international Brecht competition and for his performances in Greek Tragedy and Comedy he was critically acclaimed twice at the Festival of Athens.
"Ephemera", his first work as writer-director, was named Best Production of the Year. Nikos was artistic director of the Centre of Movement and Dance and associate artistic director of The Popular Experimental Theatre in Athens.
As a writer, director and choreographer Nikos creates original works based on modern themes, poetry and universal messages. “Ephemera” is an evolving work which metamorphoses over the years. North American productions include: “Masks”, with ancient poetry; “Ephemera A Modern Trilogy” with the poetry of Margaret Atwood; “Bolero”, a play about Isadora Duncan; “Bread of Words”, etc.
He was artistic director of Neomyth Co. in Toronto. He also created a bilingual theatre company, Electra, and cultural events such as the Exhibition of Ancient Greek Musical Instruments.
For the 2003 season, Nikos directed and choreographed “The Birds” by Aristophanes at the Stratford Festival of Canada, the first Greek comedy to be presented in their 50 year repertory. Nikos presented his play “Rite of Passage” in Hong Kong, London and Edinburgh and “Ephemera” with poetry by Harold Pinter at the George Wood Theatre in London. Other London performances include “Repercussions” at the Royal Albert Hall.
For the summer season 2007, Nikos directed and choreographed “Seven Against Thebes” by Aeschylus at Corfu with the Corfu Regional Repertory Company. And for the season 2008 he directed, choreographed and performed (god Dionysus) “The Bacchae” by Euripides with the Corfu Regional Repertory Company under the European program Interreg III Greece-Italy 2000-2006.
Nikos gives Master Classes and workshops on Greek Tragedy, Movement and Acting for the Actors Centre in London, Central School of Speech and Drama, Italia Conti, Lancaster University, Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), London University and others.
Nikos Dionysios is the Artistic Director of the newly formed cultural organization Cosmopolis in Cyprus.
